What was your first vintage with Cutting Edge?

2003

What other experience do you have in the wine/restaurant industry? How did this experience set you up for success at CES?

I spent 25 years in the restaurant industry, all areas, front and back of the house. Including bartending and brewing beer.

What made you want to work for CES?

Had a decent background with wine growing up, wanted to learn more, interviewed with Mark and Steve for an opportunity. The rest is history!

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I like most about my job is the independence of working as an outside sales rep. Quite a challenge to build a route that didn’t exist before!

What was your 'light bulb' wine experience?

My light bulb wine experience was having the opportunity to go on my one and only wine trip to South America back in 2014.

What is your favorite wine region? What do you love about it?

My favorite region would be the Rhône Valley, there is such a diverse range of varietals and price points. Plus the wines usually are ready to consume more quickly than Burgundy or Bordeaux.

What is your desert island wine?

Guigal La Dorian Condrieu if it’s summer, any good-Old vintage Muga Prado Enea for the wintertime.

If you could share a bottle of your favorite wine with any person, alive or dead, who would it be and why?

My dad. He taught me how to appreciate fine wine at an early age. RIP!

What is your ideal way to spend a day off?

Best way to spend a day off is in the Ocean!
