I have over 24 years in the wine industry…first working my way up to managing a fine wine shop within third-generation gourmet grocery West Point Market and secondly being a sales rep for two Ohio distributors.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WINE REGION AND WHY?
The Willamette Valley in Oregon is a truly exceptional and special place. I love the comradery of the winemakers out there. The commitment to Organics and Biodynamics, the beautiful terroir, the passion, and dedication of the people there- I consider myself an ambassador!
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE WINE EXPERIENCES?
My favorite wine experiences always include great conversations. Sipping a great glass of wine is an exercise in mindfulness- there is so much to discover!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WINE AND FOOD PAIRING?
A REALLY good banh mi sandwich- toasted and chewy baguette, a little mayo, savory and creamy pate, thin slices of juicy pork belly, spicy and crunchy fresh pickled veggies, cilantro and a squeeze of lime and a perfectly chilled Spanish Txakoli Rose- like the 2021 from Txomin!

Champagne for sure! Refreshing and bubbly and complex.
